I woke up with one eye allergy-swollen shut, and by the time Thor’s baseball game was over (they won!) I had been sneezing and coughing for 2 hours. That, combined with my blazing cold sore and generic bloat rather limited my self confidence, and I elected not to go to the audition. There is another slot tomorrow evening, so if I am feeling more like a human and less like The Elephant Man’s niece, I’ll hit that one. If I am still a crusty, ragweed-riddled version of myself, I will just stay home and try not to frighten children.
Meanwhile, here I am on the sofa rubbing my eyes and whining. I want a robot so I can send it out for ice cream.
