Hi, I’m Lane.
Growing up, I wanted to be Miss America, a criminal lawyer, a supermodel, the President, a Bond girl, a brain surgeon, a journalist, a backup singer for Duran Duran, and a college professor of Medieval Literature. In order to fulfill those dreams, I became a writer.
I am a multi-genre author with a passion for storytelling. I write in a variety of genres, including contemporary romance, paranormal romance, cozy mystery, and non-fiction about dementia and dementia caregiving. I’m also an illustrator, and I’ve written and illustrated two early reader picture books.
As a regular speaker for caregiver groups, I’m passionate about sharing my experiences and knowledge with others. My work has been featured on several popular sites, including Scary Mommy, Pop Sugar, Bon Bon Break, and About.com.
I’ve lived in Dallas, Texas for most of my life, but I was born into a military family and have lived all over the United States. I hold a BA in English with a minor in Russian, and an MS in Information Technology Management–I am also a multi-genre learner.
