Hi, I’m Lane.
Growing up, I wanted to be Miss America, a criminal lawyer, a supermodel, the President, a Bond girl, a brain surgeon, a journalist, a backup singer for Duran Duran, and a college professor of Medieval Literature. In order to fulfill those dreams, I became a writer.
I write:

- Cozy Mysteries & Paranormal Adventures
- Non-fiction on dementia caregiving
- Early-reader picture books I illustrate
My caregiving work comes from personal experience, and I love speaking to audiences about what I’ve learned with honesty and humor. You’ll also find me sharing snapshots of daily life, books I love, and writing musings on social media.
I live in Texas with my family and a steady rotation of ideas in my head.
